Safety & Reporting

Khooneh is a real community, and we treat safety accordingly. Here's how verification, moderation, and reporting work.

What verification means

• Verified Member: Confirmed identity through Khooneh's member verification process.
• Verified Organizer: Reviewed by Khooneh admins and approved to organize community events.
• Verified Professional: Submitted professional credentials for admin review. Always independently verify credentials yourself.
• Verified Employer: Confirmed as a real organization in good standing to post opportunities.

Verification confirms identity or basic legitimacy — it never guarantees someone's future behavior, professional quality, or character.

Moderation

Event organizers, service listings, job posts, referral offers, and roommate posts are reviewed by our admin team. Verified badges, suspensions, and content removals are logged in an internal audit trail.

Reporting content or a member

Use the “Report” button available on profiles, events, listings, jobs, referral, and roommate posts. Reports go directly to our admin team and are kept confidential from the person you're reporting.

Emergencies

Khooneh is not equipped to handle emergencies or urgent medical or safety situations. If you or someone else is in danger, call 911 immediately. Do not rely on Khooneh's reporting tools for time-sensitive emergencies.
