Event Cancellation & Refund Policy

Each event's specific cancellation and refund policy is set by its organizer and shown on the event page and during RSVP. This page explains the general framework.

Free events

You can cancel a free RSVP anytime from your dashboard. Please do — it frees your spot for someone on the waitlist.

Paid events

Organizers set their own refund windows (for example, “full refund up to 7 days before, no refund within 24 hours”). Review the specific policy on the event page before purchasing.

Waitlists

If you cancel a confirmed spot, the next person on the waitlist is automatically notified. If you're on a waitlist and a spot opens, you'll be notified and given a window to confirm before it passes to the next person.

Event cancellations by organizers

If an organizer cancels an event, all registrants are notified and paid tickets are refunded in full, regardless of the stated refund window.

Disputes

If you believe a refund was mishandled, contact us through the Contact Us page and our team will review it with the organizer.
