This Privacy Policy explains what information Khooneh collects, how it's used, and the choices you have — especially around the privacy controls built into your profile.

What we collect

• Account information: name, email, and authentication details.
• Profile information you choose to add: location, bio, profession, skills, and interests.
• Activity data: RSVPs, listings, job posts, and referral activity.
• Payment data for paid events, processed by Stripe — Khooneh does not store full card numbers.

How privacy controls work

Your Privacy Settings let you set visibility — Public, Members Only, Verified Members Only, or Private — separately for your profile, location, email, phone, social links, employment status, and event participation. We honor these settings in every part of the product, including the member directory and search.

Contact relay

When another member “contacts” you through Khooneh, your email and phone are not shared automatically. You choose whether and how to respond.

Data sharing

We do not sell member data. We share limited data with service providers (e.g., Stripe for payments, Resend for email) strictly to operate the platform.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or delete your account at any time from Settings or by contacting us.
